Getting to know Mrs Smiths Photography

Excellence, Personal, Consistent

What inspired you to become a photographer?

I am a graphic designer by trade and I love all things creative. Moving into photography was the next logical step and I love it!

I would describe my signature photographic style as vibrant and true-to-life editorial-style.

What do you love most about being involved in the wedding industry?

I love being able to capture the whole story, from the details and the first look to the party dancing! Photos that capture true emotion and intimacy, where you can feel the love radiating from the image, are my favourite photos of all time.

Can you tell us about the most memorable wedding you have captured?

Goodness, they are all memorable! It would be unfair to name just one! They are all like my children and I definitely don’t have a favourite child ❤️

What advice can you give couples when they are choosing someone to capture their special day?

Make sure you get along with your photographer, as you’re going to spend the whole day with them. Having an engagement shoot is the best way to get to know each other and get you comfortable in front of the camera.

Wedding photography insights from Nat…

  • To help the day run as smoothly as possible, give me as many details as you can beforehand. The more information I have, the better your photos will be.
  • Late afternoon/ sunset is the best time of day to capture that perfect shot.
  • Light and airy or moody images are both trending at the moment.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us, Nat. They’re gorgeous!
