What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
Weddings are the ultimate social celebration! We love nothing more than getting your favourite people together and connecting over food!
Can you tell us more about your signature style?
We’re all about good celebrations and social occasions. Our menus are designed to share – crafted seasonally, sourced locally and served to your taste. That means no set menus!
What is your favourite recipe to prepare?
That’s like picking your favourite child, but we do love a Pomona gin-cured coral trout with macadamia and finger lime to start us off!
What’s the best restaurant you’ve ever been to?
Living in Europe, we ticked off many top restaurants in the world. However, nothing beats local seafood in the sunshine, whether that’s on the Italian coast or our beloved Sunshine Coast!
Catering advice from Braden, as well as trends he’s seeing, includes…
- Don’t settle for set menus and standard service. Make the event your own – choose your favourite foods and curate menus bespoke to your taste! It’s your day, after all!
- Have a good run sheet and a trusted team around you, so you can enjoy participating in the celebrations, as opposed to overseeing them.
- Everyone loves a food cart, but we love to get people seated, sharing and socialising over lovely long tables!
