Based in Hervey Bay, Tahlia’s business – The Blushing Details – creates custom wedding and events signs, which can be shipped anywhere across Australia. The self-proclaimed ‘perfectionist’ will ensure the décor she provides is exactly what each couple desires.

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
I love creating gorgeous pieces for a happy couple’s special day!
What will couples love about your business?
Couples will love that I offer a very wide variety of signage from different shapes, sizes, colours and wording! I am also open to creating a sign with wording tailored to the ideas they have, which allows their signage to be more personal. There is something there for everyone!
What advice can you give couples when they are choosing styling/ decor elements for their wedding?
Once you have picked the style and theme you would like for your wedding, go ahead and start organising your decor.
Make sure to pick things that will be important to you, whether that is fresh flower arrangements or personalised signage.
When it comes to signage, you don’t have to go the classic white and black look. It is nice to be different and add in a touch of colour to suit your theme!
What trends are you seeing right now in your segment of the wedding industry?
- The classic look of white and black has been very popular for wedding welcome signs.
- I have also had some orders with the Boho vibe. That is, beautiful, neutral tones.
- Any personalised items, whether that be signs or place cards, are popular at the moment.
What is your favourite styling “look” on a couple’s special day?
I LOVE Boho themed weddings – it is very much my style. Rustic and modern-styled weddings are also gorgeous!
