Housed in a converted 1959 Chevrolet Apache, The Chevy Bar can cater to any drink your heart desires. Though the bar is BYO, Wayne and Elena can recommend a range of great suppliers, including microbreweries, across South-East Queensland to help your day come together as seamlessly as possible.

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
You enter the venue as a vendor and leave as an extended member of the family. There is no other “job” that gives the reward that we get as mobile bar staff. From “man hugs” to “cheek kisses” at the end of our bar services, we absolutely love what we do in our business.
Describe your ideal celebratory beverage.
Everyone has their ideal “go to” beverage – for me personally, it’s Havana Club Rum. It takes me back to days in Cuba, and cigars. It tugs at happy memories. It’s the same when we create that wedding bar experience for you. We are a dry bar (so beverages are BYO) but can cater your favorite beers, wines and sprits.
What are some of the most popular beverages you serve at weddings?
Cider is a huge hit with all our clients, both young and young-at-heart. Ginger flavoured beers and ciders are usually drained ahead of some beers.
Our advice is to ensure you have enough and to create a broad selection of beverages for your guests.
What advice can you give couples when choosing a service like yours for their special day?
Our advice is summed up in two words – Book Early!
We do book out months in advance and have enquiries currently two years into the future.
What’s the best restaurant, café or bar you’ve ever been to and why?
- Bar – Raffles Singapore. It’s the only place in the world to try a “Singapore Sling”.
- Restaurant – Honestly, we’re street food people, with so many countries that we’ve travelled. However, I’m going to say try seafood Paella with black beans and rice in Grenada, Spain.
