Getting to know Happy Hounds Pet Services

Professionalism, Personalisation, Passion

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?

The wedding industry is an ever-evolving landscape, with new and exciting trends emerging all the time. In recent years, incorporating pets into wedding ceremonies and photos has gained tremendous popularity, and it’s an area of our business that we take particular pleasure in.

Being entrusted to participate in such a significant moment in a couple’s life is a true honour, and we take great pride in our role in making their special day a little less stressful.

I love knowing that I’ve been part of helping to include the littlest family member in the festivities. It’s a joy to see the happiness and excitement on the faces of couples and their gorgeous pets.

Can you tell us about your favourite day on the job?

The best day on the job would have to be our very first wedding! It was a bit of a special one as the groom wasn’t aware that his dog would be attending the wedding. The bride has booked us as a surprise!

We brought the pooch down the aisle to the song, ‘Hound Dog’ by Elvis and, safe to say, the groom was thrilled with the additional guest!

Describe the experience couples would have if they chose your business for their special day.

Couples who choose us for their special day can expect a well-organised, seamless, stress free and personalised experience.

A qualified and experienced member of our team will take care of your furry family member from the moment we first meet at the initial complementary meet and greet until we finally say goodbye to your darling pet once all the festivities are over. We will transport them safely to and from the venue, provide them with plenty of love and attention, and make sure they are comfortable and happy throughout the day.

We work closely with you to understand your vision for the day and how you would like your pet to be included. We’re there to assist during the photoshoot, ensuring that your furry friend is looking their best and that they are in all the right places at all the right times.

Couples can relax, knowing that their furry family member is in good hands, and that they will have lasting memories of their beloved pet being a part of their wedding day.

What trends are you seeing right now in your segment of the wedding industry?

We’ve seen an increasing demand for customised pet wedding attire. More and more couples are choosing to dress up their pets in custom outfits that match their wedding theme and colours. We think matching bow ties are particularly adorable.

Couples are also incorporating floral accessories like floral collars, leis, and corsages into their pet’s attire to give them an extra special touch. They look amazing in photographs.

We absolutely love Natalie’s business concept and fully endorse cute pet photos on a couple’s wedding day! So adorable! Thanks for joining our vendor community, Natalie.
